LIVE ACTION
Following movement and being quick to react to sudden changes. This is all about speed, reflexes, understanding of flow, motion but also keeping the sourunding environment in mind.
But every sport follows a different processes, speed and coreography. This makes live action particularly exiting. Always new, always different.
My racing background comes in particularly handy as there are parallels in how the drone is being controlled. There are no second takes. It is all about the moment and the flow.
COMMERCIAL MOTION
This is all about the story, brand and emotions that need to be transported. In close collaboration with the client, art director as well as the other expertises on set a perfect outcome is planed, orchestrated and jointly delivered.
It takes more planing, alignment, collaboration and usually a good number to takes to get the perfect shots. In extreme scenarios, there can be up to 4 people operating, drone, camera, settings and sound in one go.
AERIAL VIDEOGRAPHIE
Aerial filming requires a clear alignment of what is required and expected but tends to run focused, in longer takes and smooth flows once on set.
These are usualy taken by a single FPV Drone and fixed camera with one pilot.
TOOLS OF THE TRADE
Different challenges require different solutions. Thats why I have various drones depending on what is required. It starts with the cameras that are to be carried such as a RED Komodo or a GoPro. Will the material be used in a hollywood production or on social media? Also the location and job to be done is key. Is it an indoor shoot, with people, above water or do we need to build something custom to accomodate your requirements? E.g we can construct and print custom 3D parts to carry or attach special equipment.
CUSTOM TINY WHOOP
Small, fast, flexible and safe. These can be flown indoors, pose little to no risk to people, obsticals and interiors. They are usualy used for indoor filming, fly-throughs and with people around featuring go-pro cameras.
CINELIFTER
Cinelifters can carry - as the name says - professional cinematic cameray such as a RED komodo. Resolution, light sensitivity, colours frame rate and so on will be far above your usual footage. If you need feature film quality this is the way to go.
CUSTOM RACING DRONE
Fast, flexible, extreme. The classic FPV racing drone is usually equipped with a go-pro setup and offers a variety of setups. It can be easily customized, waterproofed and adapted to needs This is usualy the go to solution for sports and live action filming.
